jpnn.com – Jakarta gubernatorial candidate Pramono Anung said that the President-elect of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, had made a joke when the two figures hugged at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (4/9).
However, the former Secretary General (Sekjen) of the PDI Perjuangan admitted that he could not tell the contents of Prabowo’s joke to the public.
“I can’t convey his joke when he hugged me, yes,” said Pram when met by media crew in Central Jakarta, Friday (6/9).
It is known that Pram and Prabowo met at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, last Wednesday after the two figures hosted the highest leader of the Catholic Church in the world, Pope Francis.
Pram admitted that he could actually communicate well with all the ministers in the Jokowi-Maruf Amin cabinet, including Prabowo who serves as Minister of Defense.
“Personally, my relationship with him (Prabowo, ed.) is very good,” said the former Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives.
Pram in the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election will prioritize embracing politics as shown by choosing comedian Lies Hartono or Cak Lontong as the head of the winning team.
“The politics that I am doing in the Jakarta gubernatorial election is a politics that embraces everyone, which is proven by the fact that even the winning leader, Cak Lontong, is always smiling,” he continued.
