With the T20 World Cup starting on the 16th, all the teams are actively preparing for it. The Rohit Sharma-led Indian team has already left for Australia and is playing some practice matches in preparation for the T20 World Cup.
Accordingly, today the Indian team is playing a practice match against the Western Australia XI led by Ashton Turner. Indian team captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bat in this match in Perth.

While there was great anticipation as to which XI combination the Indian team will play with in the T20 World Cup, the answer to that question has been received today. The batting order is almost certain. The questions remain as to who will play between Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant as wicket keeper and who will play in Bumrah’s place.
As such, it is a practice match and both are playing. Rishabh Pant is the opener along with Rohit Sharma. Virat Kohli did not play in this match. Suryakumar Yadav plays in the 3rd row, Deepak Hooda in the 4th row, All-rounder Hardik Pandya in the 5th row and Dinesh Karthik as the finisher.
Axar Patel and Yuzvendra Chahal are the spinners and Harshal Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Arshdeep Singh are the fast bowlers. It is to be noted that Bumrah’s replacement for the T20 World Cup is yet to be announced.
