It wasn’t long before the warning about annoying driving came. For example the driver (49) in Prague 1 alerted the Prague police patrol almost immediately. “He drove through the entry barrier right in front of the police on patrol,” says Irena Seifertová, a spokeswoman for the Prague police.
“After the vehicle was stopped at the intersection of Senovážné náměstí street and Dlážděná street, the person in question was asked submit documents. During communication with the patrol, it became clear that the man did not have a valid driver’s license and was displaying signs alcohol or drug consumption,” the spokesperson continues. For that reason, the man took a test that “guarantees that the matter be handed over to the state police.”
The abrasion gave it away
At the same time, it was not so long ago that police officers dealt with a situation that was not entirely similar. In Prague 12, the police noticed earlier a car whose driver was behaving badly on the road confusingly. “The 19-year-old driver claimed to the officers that he had the reason is his short experience of driving and working with the clutch, which gives him a problem“, says Seifertová.
Of course, the police did not like it and went to check the driver more closely. “Alcohol breath followed by a breath test with a result of over one thousand per thousand involved restrictions on personal freedom and the calling of the state police, who took over the matter to resolve it,” the spokesperson explained.
