jpnn.comJAKARTA – Jakarta gubernatorial and deputy gubernatorial candidates Pramono Anung and Rano Karno or Si Doel visited the residence of Jusuf Kalla (JK) to establish communication with the 10th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia on Jalan Brawijaya, South Jakarta, Monday (9/9) evening.
Pram, Pramono Anung’s nickname, admitted that he came to JK’s residence to ask for advice on having the courage to make policy decisions.
“I asked Mr. JK a lot about various things, especially the courage to decide something that really had to be decided,” he said in a press conference after meeting JK, Monday.
Pram said that JK’s advice was important because the former Golkar General Chair was a central figure in dealing with flooding on the Jakarta road leading to Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
“Not many people know that Mr. JK resolved the problem, so that the flooding towards the airport was handled well,” continued the former Secretary General of the PDI Perjuangan.
Pram continued that JK conveyed a message to the former Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives in the meeting if he was elected as Governor of Jakarta.
“He ordered that those who lead Jakarta must be calm, polite, focused and brave in making decisions,” said Pram.
Meanwhile, JK in a meeting with Pram-Rano advised that both candidates could solve Jakarta’s problems if they were elected as governor and deputy governor.
