New Delhi: Election strategist Prashant Kishore has said that Rahul Gandhi should step aside if the Congress party does not get the expected victory in the Lok Sabha elections.

The Congress party has been facing continuous defeat for the last 10 years. In this case, election strategist Prashant Kishore approached the Congress party with a plan to revive it. But due to disagreement with the party leadership regarding the implementation of those plans, Prashant Kishore left.

In this case, the election strategist Prashant Kishore has said in a discussion with PTI news agency editors:

Rahul Gandhi, who has been leading the Congress party, has not been able to achieve significant success in the last 10 years. However, Rahul did not allow himself to step aside from the party or let someone else lead the party. As far as I am concerned, this is anti-democratic. Therefore, Rahul Gandhi should consider quitting the Congress if he does not get the expected victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

If you haven’t been successful in a job for 10 years straight, there’s no harm in walking away from that job. The job should be handed over to someone else for a period of 5 years. Sonia, Rahul’s mother, did just that. When her husband Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated in 1991, Kondsonia withdrew from politics, allowing Narasimha Rao to take over as Prime Minister.

A key characteristic of good leaders in the world is that they recognize their flaws and correct them. Rahul also knows all this. If Rahul does not realize that he needs help, no one can help him. He wants someone who can enforce what he thinks is right. It is not possible.

Rahul resigned from the post of party president when the Congress party lost in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He said then that someone else should do this work. But he does the opposite.

Congress and its volunteers are bigger than any individual. Rahul should not be stubborn in thinking that he alone can bring victory to the party despite repeated defeats. He said this.
