Not long ago, around the time the 30th Anniversary Pack arrived in Destiny 2, Bungie revealed that it had teamed up with Nerf to create a physical version of the famous Gjallarhorn rocket launcher that fires powerful Nerf darts at people.
At the time, it was mentioned that the item would launch sometime this year, and to get one, players would need to get the Gjallarhorn in-game to be able to pre-order/purchase the Nerf edition through the Bungie Rewards section of the Bungie Store. Now, after a heavy blog post, we have an idea of when the Nerf Gjallarhorn will be released and when one can be ordered.
As it turns out, it’s coming soon, as the Gjallarhorn will be available for pre-order on July 7, 2022. So next week. It’s important to note that this is just an early access period when the launcher is available, and any remaining units will be sold once this window closes on an indeterminate date.
There’s no exact date as to when the Gjallarhorn will actually ship, but a note at the bottom of the blog post does warn that shipping availability may be limited to anyone outside of North America, the EU, Australia, and the UK.
