Prefecture of Marrakech: Presentation of a Royal donation to the Chorfas of the zaouia of Sidi Zouine
Municipality of Sidi Zouine (prefecture of Marrakech) – A commission of the Royal Chamberlain proceeded, Wednesday at the prefecture of Marrakech, to the presentation of a Royal donation to the Chorfas of the zaouia of Sidi Zouine, in commemoration of the 26th anniversary of the disappearance of the late His Majesty Hassan II, may God rest his soul.
This Royal donation was presented by this commission chaired by Mr. Saâd Eddine Smij, mission officer with the Royal Chamberlainy, during a religious ceremony which took place at the mausoleum of Sidi Zouine (prefecture of Marrakech) in the presence of the wali of the Marrakech-Safi region, governor of the Marrakech prefecture, Farid Chourak, the regional delegate of Islamic Affairs, local elected officials as well as other personalities.
During this ceremony, which was marked by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and panegyrics of the Prophet Sidna Mohammed (PSL), the audience implored the Almighty to preserve His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, and to fulfill the Sovereign in the person of HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid and all the members of the Illustrious Royal Family.
Prayers were also offered for the repose of the souls of the late Sovereigns, the late HM Mohammed V and the late HM Hassan II, may God have them in His Holy Mercy.
