Preferential loans for salaries will be extended to beauty salons and service centers

First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov announced that the list of categories of activities that fall under the conditions of the program of concessional loans for salaries (FOT 3.0) will be expanded, according to the Izvestia newspaper according to the meeting with entrepreneurs. Six more codes of the All-Russian Classifier of Economic Activities (OKVED) will be added to the list of eligible industries.

The payroll 3.0 program is designed to preserve jobs at enterprises. It provides for the issuance of loans at a rate of 3% up to RUB 500 million. provided that the employer retains at least 90% of jobs. The government announced the resumption of the program in October, following a public holiday due to the spread of the coronavirus.

Industries covered by the program:

  • repair of computers, personal and household items (OKVED 95);
  • additional education for children and adults (OKVED 85.41);
  • dental practice (OKVED 86.23);
  • washing and dry cleaning of textiles and fur products (OKVED 96.01);
  • provision of services by hairdressers and beauty salons (OKVED 96.02);
  • provision of childcare services (OKVED 88.91).

The expanded program, originally developed for small and medium-sized businesses, will also include large enterprises from the catering and cultural spheres, the newspaper notes.
