The officials that make up the National Civil Protection Commission provide a preliminary assessment of the emergencies attended during the Easter holidays.

According to the reports provided, a total of 133 water rescues have been recorded, underscoring the importance of vigilance and preparedness in aquatic environments during the holiday season. Unfortunately, outside of the rescue facility, eight people have been lost due to submersion incidents.

On the fire front, a total of 276 incidents have been recorded, with seven people injured as a result.

The traffic sector has also presented considerable challenges, with a total of 372 traffic accidents recorded during the holiday period. These incidents have left 237 people injured and, unfortunately, have claimed the lives of 28 people.

Additionally, 120 individuals have been arrested for dangerous driving, underscoring the continued need to promote responsibility and compliance with traffic rules.
