Premalu is a romantic comedy film directed by Girish AD. The film was a huge success and received a great response outside Kerala as well. Starring Nazlin and Mamita Baiju, Shyam Mohan, Meenakshi Ravindran, Akhila Bhargavan, Altaf Salim, Mathew Thomas and Sangeet Pratap also played prominent roles. After the huge success of the movie, the makers announced the second part.
The second part was announced at Premalu’s victory celebration in Kochi. The poster of the film was also shared through social media. The film will hit the theaters in 2025. Minister P Rajeev, Fahad Fazil, Nazriya and Amal Neerad also participated in the victory celebration event along with the cast of Premalu.
The Telugu version of the film, set in the backdrop of Hyderabad, was also a great success. Director Rajamouli’s son Karthikeya distributed the film in Telugu. The film grossed over 100 crore rupees at the theatres.
The film is produced by Dileesh Pothan, Fahadh Fazil and Shyam Pushkaran under the banner of Bhavana Studios. Premalu was a film directed by Girish AD after blockbusters like Thanneermattan Dinaman and Super Sharanya.
