On the other hand, the Police Basketball Club delegation left the city of Zakho after the intervention of security men who accompanied the delegation until it left Zakho safely to avoid being attacked by the Zakho fans who waited for a long time outside the hall after the riots of the fans that accompanied the match between Zakho and the Police in the Premier Basketball League.
The media coordinator of the police, Athir Al-Shuwaili, told Agency, “Zakho fans attacked the police players and seriously injured some of them. The match was stopped six minutes before the end, and the result of the match was in the police’s lead, 69-61 points.”
