The sixth round of the Premier League kicked off tonight (Saturday) in Kiryat Shmona, when the local team hosts Hapoel Haifa for a match between two teams that are next to each other in the table with 6 points each.
Ironi Kiryat Shmona is still with only one win in the league, but did not make any changes to the squad in the last days of the transfer window. What’s more, coach Menachem Koretzky removed Roi Kehat from the squad and placed Joseph Ambong and for the first time Tamir Adi in his lineup.
Hapoel Haifa also won only once this season and, like Kiryat Shmona, they also achieved it in the opening round of the season. This time, unlike the previous games, it comes up with a completely new defensive center which consists of Hatem Abdelhamid who joined this week on loan from Hapoel Beer Sheva and Louis Taha who recovered from a long injury and makes a renewed debut in the Premier League after over a year. Constantinius Sotirio went to the bench and another foreigner who did not start is another newcomer to Nir Klinger’s staff, Mohamed Kamara.
