The Valencian defender Paul Marwho had been on loan at Monza since the start of last season, breaks ties with Arsenal and signs for the Italian club.
The English team has confirmed it on their social networks and has wished him good luck.
Mar reached the Premier after standing out in a few months at Flamengo, a club with which he won the Copa Libertadores in 2019. Arsenal hired him for close to ten million euros. In January 2022 he was loaned to Udinese, where he finished the campaign.
He played the entire 2022-2023 season on loan at the Monza, a club to which he remains 100% linked after consummating his stay in the Italian first division. The agreement with Arsenal included a clause whereby if he remained in the top flight, he would have to buy the 29-year-old Spanish central defender.
With Arsenal he came to play 22 games and scored one goal, in the 4-1 victory against Rapid Vienna in the Europa League in December 2020.
