Raheem Sterling, currently at Chelsea and a former Manchester City player, ranks second with R$1,028.48 million earned since his Premier League debut in 2012. Even after his loan transfer to Arsenal, Chelsea will still bear most of his salary of R$2,080,000 per week.

David de Gea, former Manchester United goalkeeper, is the third highest earner, with R$919.04 million throughout his Premier League career. The Spaniard, who currently plays for Fiorentina, signed a record contract of R$2,400,000 per week in 2019. Wayne Rooney, the all-time top scorer for Manchester United, comes in fourth place with R$793.60 million.

Mohamed Salah from Liverpool occupies the fifth position, with around R$116.48 million annually after renewing his contract for three years last year. Among the Manchester United players who feature on the list, Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba also stand out. Lukaku earned R$610.56 million during his time at United, while Pogba earned R$581.76 million. Anthony Martial, with R$556.80 million, surprisingly ranks ninth despite not entirely meeting expectations during his nine-year stint at the club.

N’Golo Kanté, with R$556.80 million, and Virgil van Dijk, with R$537.60 million, complete the top ten. Van Dijk from Liverpool earned R$1,408,000 per week on a contract signed in 2021, and also received R$1,152,000 weekly since his arrival at Anfield in 2017. These numbers illustrate the combination of high salaries and lucrative contracts that define the Premier League elite.

Shirt Sponsorship Contracts in the Premier League

While player salaries reflect the value of stars on the field, shirt sponsorship contracts show the financial impact of the clubs. Manchester United tops the earnings ranking with shirt sponsorships for the 2024-25 season, bringing in an impressive R$1,088.00 million.

This amount is the result of a combination of contracts: R$576.00 million from Adidas for manufacturing the uniforms, R$384.00 million from Snapdragon as the primary shirt sponsor, and R$128.00 million from DXC for sleeve advertising.

In contrast, Chelsea faces an unfavorable situation. The club currently has no primary sponsor on the front of the shirt, resulting in a substantial loss of revenue. Chelsea currently raises only R$435.20 million, with R$384.00 million coming from Nike as the uniform supplier and R$51.20 million from Fever as sleeve sponsors.

The club was the only one in the Premier League to start the season without a primary sponsor after the breakup with Infinite Athlete, which had signed a R$256.00 million one-year contract in September 2023. The Premier League prohibits changes to the primary shirt sponsor during the season, except for specific exceptions.

Manchester City ranks second, earning R$960.00 million with a combination of R$448.00 million from Puma, R$384.00 million from Etihad, and R$128.00 million from OKX. Liverpool comes in third with R$876.80 million, obtained through contracts with Nike, Standard Chartered, and Expedia. Arsenal is fourth with R$800.00 million, from agreements with Nike, Emirates, and Visit Rwanda.

Everton and Leicester share R$137.60 million, followed by West Ham with R$134.40 million. Brighton and Crystal Palace receive R$108.80 million and R$102.40 million, respectively.

The figures drop to R$100.80 million for Fulham, R$70.40 million for Nottingham Forest, and R$67.20 million for Bournemouth. At the bottom of the table, Southampton earns R$65.28 million, Brentford R$60.80 million, and Ipswich Town, the club with the lowest earnings, receives only R$38.40 million. This amount includes R$6.40 million from Umbro, R$6.40 million from Halo for the sleeves, and R$25.60 million from the promotion of new investor Ed Sheeran.
