The premiere of the Herscheid flea market will take place on Sunday, August 13th. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., visitors can go bargain hunting in the parking lot at the Netto-Markt (Hohle Straße). Donations for the sanctuary are also collected there.
Herscheid – Frank Laudien is pleased about the great response to his event: All sales areas have been allocated. Most of the dealers come from Herscheid, the other providers from the surrounding area. Incidentally, commercial dealers are not represented.
Laudien is also pleased about the great support from the authorities, the local government and the net market, which is making the space available. In addition, the Grote bakery is extending its opening hours on Sundays until the end of the market because of the market. There will also be a food truck on site, which will offer fries and currywurst, among other things.
One of the dealers will be the teenager Sophie Schmidthaus. At her stand, the woman from Herscheid offers books, games, decorations and more for a good cause. All proceeds from the sale are intended for the sanctuary in Hervel. Raccoons, chickens, ducks, large parrots, horses, donkeys, rabbits and many other animals live here. The operation of the farm is financed by donations, so the volunteer helper would also be happy to receive food donations for the sanctuary.
