The Ministry of Public Education (SEP) reported that during 2022, the Online High School service served 174,411 students, of which 92% are over 18 years of age.

In a statement, he explained that 55% of the students enrolled in this service of the SEP work while doing your studies; 60% have children, and 66% are women.

During this year, 5,941 students with disabilities and 10,802 people from indigenous communities, Afro-descendants or speakers of an indigenous language were attended.

He recalled that this educational service is free and virtual, with flexible hours, since the educational platform is available 365 days a year.

The modality allows you to study from anywhere in the world without having to travel. The curriculum consists of 23 modules that are taken consecutively in a fixed school calendar of two years and six months.

The SEP indicated that to provide the service during 2022, 2,280 virtual advisors, 129 school tutors and 311 people from the functional structure were used.

At the end of the studies, an electronic certificate with official validity from the SEP is issued, which allows its graduates to continue towards the higher level in any public or private university.

For the 2023 call, the SEP detailed that there will be 12 monthly registrations, so those interested will have various opportunities throughout the year.

The next registration period will be from January 16 to 27, 2023 for generation 50; the term could close before in case of reaching 30 thousand complete registrations.
