Today (Thursday) Bojan Krkic officially said goodbye to the world of football in a ceremony held at Camp Nou after an extensive career around the world when he played in seven different countries. The Spaniard hung up his boots at the age of 32 after leaving Japanese side Vissel Kobe in the summer.
“It’s not a complete breakup yet,” he began Karkic and announced that “the idea is to retire in a game with the Catalonia national team in the June region”. He also shared about the plans for the future and remembered Frank Rijkaard: “I am preparing myself for the world of sports management and it would be an honor for me to help here at the club. Without Rijkaard when he bet on a 17-year-old boy, none of this could have happened.”
President of Barca Joan Laporte, Asher, who was present at the ceremony, said goodbye and gave an opening to the future: “Barça is your home and we will see you here soon. We can return the club to its glory with your help.” During his career, the Spaniard scored about 900 goals in the youth department before reaching the senior team, where he was the third youngest player to make his debut.

In his senior career, Bojan played in Barcelona, Stoke City, Roma, Ajax, Montreal, Milan, Vissel Coba, Alaves and Mainz. He scored 93 goals and recorded 40 assists in a total of 451 appearances.
