Presentation of Moroccan athletes qualified for the Paris-2024 Paralympic Games, Tuesday in Rabat
Rabat – The Royal Moroccan Federation of Sports for People with Disabilities (FRMSPSH) is organizing, in coordination with the relevant national federations, on Tuesday in Rabat, a meeting with the media to present the Moroccan athletes qualified for the Paris-2024 Paralympic Games.
Morocco is taking part in these Games, organized from August 28 to September 8 in Paris, with a delegation comprising 38 athletes.
Moroccan athletes will defend the national colours in para athletics (motor and visual impairment), wheelchair tennis, para powerlifting, para taekwondo, para road cycling and blind football.
Morocco has won a total of 38 medals in its Paralympic Games appearances since Seoul 1988, including 16 gold, 11 silver and 11 bronze.
Para athletics took the lion’s share of these medals, with 34 medals, while the disciplines of para swimming (Seoul 1988), para triathlon (Rio De Janeiro 2016), para powerlifting (London 2012) and five-a-side blind football (Tokyo 2020) settled for bronze.
