The President of Burundi celebrates the communal festival in Giheta in a friendly atmosphere
Gitega (commune Giheta), 5/08/2023 – HE Ndayishimiye Evariste (Major General), the courageous President of Burundiaccompanied by his wife HE Ndayubaha Angéline, First Lady of Burundicelebrated the communal feast in Giheta, his native commune, in a friendly atmosphere, sharing traditional local dishes with Mrs. Ninahaza Micheline, Communal Administrator of Giheta. This celebration is part of the internal policy of the Barundi, in particular that of decentralization, and welcomes the growing involvement of the imiryango of Giheta to transform their commune socio-economically. The First Lady, Ndayubaha, was warmly congratulated for her essential role in the socio-economic development of Burundi alongside her husband.
