As part of the implementation of the resolutions from the special congress of the Bloc Républicain party held on Saturday, June 3 in Cotonou, a committee of 12 members was appointed to review the fundamental texts of the party. It was the president of the party, Abdoulaye Bio Tchané, who appointed the 12 members of this committee on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. This approach aims to update the texts to remain in line with the changes made to the organization chart of the party. Composed of 11 members, this committee will be headed by Robert Gbian. The deputy Barthélémy Kassa is the vice-president and the rapporteur is Eugène Dossoumou. The committee’s mission is to reread the statutes and internal regulations of the BR by integrating the amending measures resulting from the resolutions adopted during the meeting of the Political Bureau sitting as congress on June 3, 2023. Within five ( 05) days from the effective date of the appointment decision, the committee is invited to file its report and report on its work.
Following the establishment of this committee, a first meeting of members was held this Thursday, June 8 at the national headquarters of the Bloc Républicain party in Cotonou.
The said committee is composed of the President: Robert Gbian, the Vice-President: Barthélémy Kassa, the Rapporteur: Eugène Dossoumou and the members Sofiatou Schanou Arouna, Nassirou Bako-Arifari, Malick Gomina, Hervé Hêhomey, André Okounlola, Bastien Salami, Assan Séïbou, Casimir Sossou and Auguste Vidégla.
