The President of the Republic, Nayib Bukele, will build a house for an elderly man from the third generation who had made a request to the president through social networks.
The 74-year-old man identified as Celio Escalón, requested help from President Nayib Bukele to build his house. The place where he lives, in the El Puente Canton, in Quezaltepeque, La Libertad, was not his own and in recent days he received an eviction notice. Furthermore, he learned that for years, Don Celio was dedicated to growing bananas in Chalatenango, but due to harassment by the gangs he had to leave his land and look for another place to live.
«I ask you for this favor, Mr. President. “You are the only one who can help me, just as you have helped us clean the country,” Don Celio said in a video.
