According to the statement made by the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications, the increasingly dire situation in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the human rights violations committed by Israel against innocent civilians in Gaza, and the steps that can be taken for a solution were discussed.
During the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that the brutality against Palestinian lands is gradually deepening and that the silence of Western countries regarding the bombing of hospitals, schools and places of worship has increased the fire in Gaza.
Emphasizing that it is unacceptable for Palestinians in Gaza to be forced to migrate from their homeland, President Erdoğan emphasized that Turkey will continue to make every effort to ensure peace and to deliver humanitarian aid and health services to Gaza as soon as possible.
