President Herzog will meet on Sunday with French President Macron

As part of the visit, the president and his wife will participate in a ceremony marking a decade since the attack on the Jewish school in Toulouse, together with French President Emanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte.

On Sunday morning, the president of the country will take off for France, where he will open his visit with a political meeting with French President Emanuel Macron. The president and his wife will then fly with the French president and his wife on a plane from Paris to Toulouse, to a memorial service marking the tenth anniversary of the Or HaTorah Jewish school in which seven civilians were killed, including: Rabbi Yonatan Sandler, 30, his youngest sons – 6-year-old Arie and Gabriel 3 and 8-year-old Miriam Monsongo.

The event will take place in Toulouse in the presence of the heads of the Jewish community, the heads of the Jewish organizations in France, former French presidents Nicolas Sarkozy and Francois Hollande, former French prime ministers, local leaders and representatives of the Jewish community. In the evening, the President and his wife will be hosted by President Macron and his wife at the Elysee Palace for dinner.
