President López Obrador and Governor Durazo build the first free hospital for Yaqui peoples

With the commissioning of the new IMSS Hospital Bienestar Vícam Switchas part of the Yaqui Justice Planwhose investment is 503 million pesos, decent medical care is guaranteed to the eight Yaqui towns and the population of southern Sonora.

“When were we going to imagine that the members of the ethnic group would have a hospital of the dimensions represented by the one that begins operations today, practically at their doorstep,” he pointed out.

In the hospital they provide services emergency departments, specialized areas in family medicine, internal medicine, preventive medicine, traditional medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, obstetrics, ophthalmology and otorhinolaryngology.

In addition, there is attention to nutrition individual and family, psychology, oral health, epidemiology and vaccination.

The Vícam Switch Hospital is made up of 30 census beds, in addition, 56 doctors will provide continuous care from Monday to Sunday.
