The President of the Republic, Daniel Noboa, arrived in the city of Guayaquil, to the Sociovivienda sector to verify the results of the mega operation carried out by the Police and the Armed Forces of Ecuador in the place.
The operation called ‘Resurge 11′, resulted in 17 detainees that the Government has classified as terrorists. In addition to this, weapons and 58 kilos of drugs were seized.
The president was present with great protection from the armed forces and wore a case and bulletproof vest.
On Monday, March 25, within the framework of the delivery of a United States aircraft to Ecuador, the President indicated that the Government maintains its commitment to returning security and peace to the country.
