The Ministry of Health and Population has announced that the President of the Republic’s initiative to care for maternal and fetal health will provide medical services to pregnant women throughout their pregnancy and up to 28 days after giving birth.
In a statement, the Ministry of Health and Population emphasized that the initiative aims to detect and prevent diseases that can be transmitted from mother to fetus, such as hepatitis B, syphilis bacteria, and human immunodeficiency.
The Ministry revealed the steps for registration within the initiative at health units, which include visiting the nearest health unit, registering the woman’s data on the program, recording personal information on a card, recording test results on the card, conducting blood sugar and virus analysis, measuring height, weight, and blood pressure, and entering the results into the registration program.
