This policy was taken after the community protested strongly ban on LPG retailers in size 3 kg selling as of February 1, 2025.
The prohibition makes it difficult for people to get LPG. In many places, long queues occur to be able to get 3 kg subsidized LPG.
Member of the House of Representatives Commission XIII from the PAN Faction Arisal Aziz appreciated President Prabowo’s rapid response to allowing a 3 kg subsidized LPG.
“Alhamdulillah, Pak Prabowo really listened to the screams of the lower community. Because, if a retailer is prohibited from selling 3 kg LPG, the impact is extraordinary. Starting from household consumption that has difficulty getting LPG, including MSMEs, food stalls in the lower community who have been using subsidized LPG. The domino effect is truly extraordinary, “said Arisal Aziz, Thursday (6/2/2025).
The politician from the electoral district of West Sumatra (West Sumatra) II also appreciated the quick steps of the Coordinating Minister for Food for Zulkifli Hasan who immediately went to the field to check the condition of the community at the lower levels related to complaints of the community and the availability of 3 kg LPG stock in the field.

According to Arisal Aziz, as a representative of the people, he also got a lot of complaints from constituents when there was a policy on the prohibition of retailers to sell 3 kg LPG.
