The Résidences Céline hotel in Kétou will host from September 21 to 22, 2023, a capacity-building seminar for project managers and technical advisors to the President of the National Assembly. Organized by the Parliamentary Institute of Benin (IpaB) through the UNDP with its operational arm, Parcpoge, the work of this seminar focuses on the missions of technical advisors and project managers of the President of the National Assembly for an administration efficient and quality parliamentarian.
What are the objectives of the seminar?The mission managers and technical advisors of the President of the National Assembly are in a workshop in Kétou to strengthen their capacities on their roles and responsibilities in parliamentary administration. Specifically, this workshop aims to present the political and administrative organs of Parliament in their interrelation to the technical advisors and project managers of the President of the National Assembly; to present the Internal Regulations of Parliament to the technical advisors and mission managers of the President of the National Assembly; to imbue the technical advisors and mission managers of the President of the National Assembly with the roles and responsibilities as well as the attitudes to be observed within the parliamentary administration; to remind the technical advisors and mission managers of the President of the National Assembly of some rules of drafting and administrative ethics; and finally to provide technical advisors and project managers with tools and techniques for persuasive communication.
