Presidential 2022: “We have never seen so many prisoners vote, we hope it will be the same in the second round”

An unnoticed victory. The detainees have never been so numerous to turn to the polls, during the first round of the presidential election. The possibility of voting by post, a first in a presidential election, moved the lines: 13,672 (out of 69,448 prisoners) registered within their prison and 10,234 cast their vote there, according to Department of Justice data.
