For his part, His Excellency President NDAYISHIMIYE had high regard for the quality of the BTEA company’s services and invited them to establish industries in Burundi, to contribute to the development of Burundi. He showed that Burundi is a very strategic country because of its geographical position which makes it a bridge between three sub-regions, East Africa, Central Africa and Southern Africa which it opens through the corridor that goes through Lake Tanganyika .
His Excellency the President of the Republic of Burundi invited the BTEA to be represented at the very high level in a Joint State that will be organized soon in Bujumbura to mobilize financial resources that will be used as part of the launch of the vision.
A joint team is being established to speed up the process of collaboration in the fields of energy and mining which will be unified. This team is led by Mr Ibrahim UWIZEYE, Minister of Hydraulics, Energy and Mines, on the Burundian side, and on the Chinese side, by the Chief Executive of BTEA.
