jpnn.comBANDUNG – Persib Bandung coach Bojan Hodak said that his team should be wary of the strength of the teams in Group A of the 2024 President’s Cup. Apart from Persib Bandung, Group A is filled by PSM Makassar, Borneo FC, and Persis Solo.

“This is a tough group because there are PSM, Borneo, and (Persis) Solo. They are all good teams. It will be tough,” Hodak said in Bandung, Wednesday (17/7).

Persib Bandung will play in the 2024 President’s Cup pre-season tournament, which starts on Friday (19/7).

The match will be held at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Soreang, Bandung Regency, West Java.

Meanwhile, the matches in Group B consisting of Bali United, Persija Jakarta, Arema FC, and Madura United, will be held at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Bali.

According to Bojan, competing in the President’s Cup will be used as capital for his team ahead of the 2024/2025 Liga 1 competition which starts in August.

The Croatian tactician admitted that preparations were not optimal due to limited time. Moreover, the President’s Cup was only announced a week before the match began.

Moreover, they still have to wait for several new players who have not joined the team.

Persib Bandung will use the President’s Cup as capital to prepare for the League 1 competition.
