New Delhi: Director of ‘Kashmir Files’ Vivek Agnihotri has alleged that the Foreign Correspondents Club and the Press Club of India have been banned. ‘The Foreign Correspondents’ Club, which was to hold the press conference, later canceled the event. The Press Club of India did not agree, though it was informed that the same could be done at the Press Club, ‘said Agnihotri. Agnihotri came out with a tweet on Wednesday revealing the details of the incident.

‘Some anti-national forces are working against me. They are enforcing an encroachment on freedom of expression. This can never be tolerated, “said Agnihotri. ‘The press conference will be held in an open forum. The most difficult questions will be dealt with vigorously .’- Agnihotri said.

Meanwhile, Agnihotri tweeted that she had tagged Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri for intervening against the cancellation of the press conference. Vivek Agnihotri is the director of ‘The Kashmir Files’. The film, which was released in March, was highly controversial.
