According to the outline, a company that agrees to collection operations at significant discounts of tens of percent will receive barriers to cooperation in formulating quick concentrated debt arrangements with debtors, so that the operation will pay off for both creditors and debtors.

Data obtained by Globes shows that the execution cases of these 100 companies constitute more than 1.1 million open cases. 433,000 of them are financial services and insurance services portfolios, 300,000 are communications portfolios, 90,000 are government OTZL portfolios and another 90,000 are local authority portfolios. Other prominent areas are health services, transportation and more.

In recent years the Enforcement and Collection Authority has initiated numerous but one-off collection operations for the winners who hold the largest amount of open cases in execution. The Enforcement Authority now intends to launch a comprehensive operation, the purpose of which is on the one hand to reduce tens of percent of the debt, but on the other hand to bring about a significant increase in the total collection and debt repayment amounts.

According to Justice Minister Gideon Saar, after two years of the Corona crisis, it is of immense importance to help a large public of debtors, recover financially through attractive arrangements.

The director of the Enforcement and Collection Authority, attorney Uri Wallerstein, stated that the authority is ready to renew its call for significant collection operations, in order to help winners and debtors reach agreements, and to close open debt portfolios among key winners.
