Although surely there is someone, few will argue with me how good the movie was Scott Pilgrim against the world 2010. The translation of the comic strips and their effects to the big screen by Edgar Wright, was as masterful as the technique and logic of the time allowed. But as with manga adaptations, it’s always better in animation than live action.
So those of us who enjoyed the movie were waiting for the adaptation that Netflix promised a few months ago. Now the wait is over, and the platform has published a preview that, undeniably, looks luxurious and concentrates all the charisma of the cartoons of Bryan Lee O’Malley. This, along with Edgar Wright, hand in hand with the study Science Saruand recovering the voices of the film’s actors for each of their characters (Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, Brie Larson, Aubrey Plaza, Brandon Routh, Ellen Wong and more), prepare a return for all the top of the character, friends and enemies.
Netflix has promised that the series will be available on its platform, exclusively, from November 17.
