Enosh, the Israeli association for mental health, won the prestigious and international Zero Project award on the subject of independent living in the community, for a flight program for the development of employment and entrepreneurship among the mentally challenged that it has been operating since 2008. Following the award, the association’s representatives will speak at the United Nations and participate in a program to spread the model around the world.

Zero Project is an international social enterprise, sponsored by the Austrian ESSL Foundation, whose goal is to promote a world with zero barriers for people with disabilities, through building an international social network of organizations that promote services for these people.

About 4,000 professionals from 170 countries are partners in the network, where the project enables mutual learning and the distribution of advanced projects.

This is the third time that Anosh has won the prestigious award for the project, and as part of a conference that will be held in February at the UN building in Vienna, the “Flight” program will be presented among the winning practices for exceptional work in its field.

The “Ma’of” program for employment and entrepreneurship promotes entrepreneurship and business management for mentally challenged people, and includes business coaching under the guidance of business coaches from the free market and rehabilitation coaching with a professional who provides mental support and tools that help the contestant achieve his business goals and integrate them into his personal rehabilitation process.

In addition, the program offers a variety of professional consulting services required for entrepreneurs in the process of setting up a business such as an accountant, lawyer, financial consulting, marketing consulting and business courses.

Dan Yaakov, a participant in the Ma’of program, builds digital assets and develops a product for websites. “As one of the first entrepreneurs in the program, I received business support from a professional, dedicated and attentive team that allowed me to develop professionally as an independent and develop my business,” he says. “I’m not sure I would have reached the achievements I reached without the program.”

The uniqueness of the program allowed Anush to also be admitted to an accelerator program (acceleration of social startups) called Impact Transfer of Ashoka Europe, which is designed to promote prominent ventures beyond their country.

Dr. Hela Hadas, CEO of Anush: “‘Flight’ is one of our flagship programs and we are proud and excited about the win. The program was established out of the belief that those with a strong heart are capable of leading and being part of the business arena. Its tremendous contribution proves that with the right guidance and support, the sky They are the limit.”
