In the auction, the average price of light in the wholesale market –the so-called ‘pool’– will stand this Sunday at 137.77 euros/MWh. The minimum price of 120 euros/MWh, will be given between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.while the maximum price will be registered between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., when it will be 173.46 euros/MWh.
Compensation for gas companies is added to this pool price, which must be paid by consumers who are beneficiaries of the measure, consumers of the regulated tariff (PVPC) or those who, despite being on the free market, They have an indexed rate, which for this Sunday will be -3.88 euros/MWh.
In this way, the average price of electricity for regulated rate customers linked to the wholesale market in the first 12 days of February will be 129.84 euros/MWh, 51.28% more than the 85.83 euros/ MWh on average for the same period last month.
