Special worships were held at the famous Alangudi and Thittai Gurudwaras in Tamil Nadu on the eve of the ordination.
The shift from Capricorn to Aquarius took place at 6.21 pm. This was followed by special anointing ceremonies for the Guru at the Thittai Vashishteswarar Temple in Tanjore District, the Guru’s abode. Prior to this, the Gurupeyarchi Yagya was developed and reparation pujas were performed for the weakened zodiac signs. Devotees are not allowed to participate in special pujas due to corona restriction. After the Guru shifted, the devotees were allowed to see the Swami.
