The head of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhinhas asked for support from Belarus this Monday, where he has been since he left Russia after the uprising starring the group of mercenaries that leads it, and has assured that “there will be new victories at the front”.

In what it supposes his first audio message since leaving Russian territory after reaching an agreement with the president, Vladimir Putin, in the midst of increasing tension, has stated that “your support is needed today more than ever».

This very Monday several Russian websites with advertising of the Wagner leader have been blocked. In these, Prigozhin presented himself as a “protector of Russia” with a view to a possible candidacy in the presidential elections of 2024, as reported by the independent Internet research organization Roskomsvoboda.

They also included ultra-nationalist rhetoric and proclamations such as “shoot without error, work honestly” in the fight against the “old system”.

It could be web pages launched by Wagner’s own mercenaries to glorify their leader, as he himself has expressed having political ambitions.
