Prime Minister and King of Jordan discuss ways to operate air and land bridge to aid the Lebanese people

Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani and King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan discussed ways to operate an air and land bridge to provide relief to the Lebanese people.

The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated in a statement received by the (INA), that “Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, today, Tuesday, in New York, met with His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on the sidelines of his participation in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The meeting witnessed discussions on bilateral relations, developments in the region, repercussions of the Palestinian issue, the continuation of the Zionist aggression on Gaza, and the recent attacks on brotherly Lebanon.”
He added, “The discussion also focused on ways to manage the air and land bridge announced by Iraq to provide relief and assistance to the Lebanese people, and to alleviate their suffering as a result of the aggression’s targeting of infrastructure, services, hospitals, and civilian areas in a criminal and random manner.”
Al-Sudani stressed “the importance of holding the emergency Arab and Islamic summit called for by Iraq to discuss developments in the situation and prevent the expansion of the conflict.” Al-Sudani also supported “the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’s approach to communicating with the parties in the European Union in order to mobilize international and global support in favor of stopping the aggression and preventing the ongoing genocide against the steadfast Palestinian people.”
