Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in Beijing last Monday (July 8) afternoon at the invitation of Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang. The Prime Minister returned home on Wednesday (July 10) after a three-day bilateral visit to that country.
During his stay in Beijing from July 8 to 10, the Prime Minister held a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping and participated in various events including a delegation-level bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Li Qiang.
The two countries signed 21 documents and announced 7 projects after a delegation-level bilateral meeting between the Prime Minister of Bangladesh and the Prime Minister of China at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on July 10, the last day of the visit.
The Prime Minister was given a red carpet welcome when he arrived at the Great Hall of the People on the morning of July 10. The Chinese Prime Minister welcomed him.
