What is Special Protection Force (SPG)?

The SPG will also plan for emergency alternatives. The SPG is solely responsible for the personal protection of the Prime Minister in the event of an emergency.
What is the Blue Book?
Officials of the Special Security Forces, which oversees the security of the Prime Minister, along with state government officials will visit the relevant places and hold meetings a week before the Prime Minister’s visit. State police, intelligence and federal officials will take part in the consultations.
After these consultation meetings, the Prime Minister’s itinerary will be elaborated, as well as alternative plans for emergencies during this consultation and alternatives if the main route program is interrupted. All of this combined will make for a booklet of at least 200 pages. Wherever the Prime Minister goes, his every move will be based on this Blue Book.
