Sivakarthikeyan starrer ‘Prince’ is the most awaited film by Tamil film fans. Released with huge hype, the film flopped in the theatres. Then the film had to face a huge failure at the box office. Later, critics and distributors came forward with criticism against the actor and the crew of the film. Now the news is coming out that Sivakarthikeyan has paid compensation to the distributors.

According to Tamil media, Sivakarthikeyan paid Rs 3 crore as compensation to the distributors. Apart from that, three crores have also been given to Sri Venkateswara Studios, the production company of the film.

Prince was released on October 21 last year. Released simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu, Prince tells the story of a love affair between an Indian boy and a British girl. Ukrainian actress Maria Ryaboshapka played the heroine in the movie. Prince is directed by Anudeep KV. Earlier, there were reports that the film earned around Rs 100 crore as pre-release business. Sathyaraj and Prenggi Amaran also acted in the film. He was the music.
