“The ramifications of this will be far-reaching and potentially devastating,” Royal author Richard Fitzwilliams told the Daily Mail on Thursday after the book’s title – “Spear” – and release date – January 10 – were announced.

According to Fitzwilliams, the title is “sensational” and “suggests that[הארי] He was not appreciated or… that he did not feel at the center of events.”

In a press release, Penguin Random House described the content of the Duke of Sussex’s autobiography as “unflinchingly honest,” which Fitzwilliams said would leave Buckingham Palace “deeply concerned, especially as these are the first months of King Charles’ reign.”

“There will undoubtedly be endless interviews, series and speculation about this memoir,” Fitzwilliams told the Mail, adding that he thought the 38-year-old prince “should have waited many more years” to tell his story. “Even Edward VIII, by then the Duke of Windsor, waited until 1951 before ‘A King’s Story’ was published,” he noted.

Mark Burkowski, a writer and advertising expert, echoed Fitzwilliams’ sentiments, predicting that “the damage to the royal family will be great.”

“The reaction of King Charles may be not to give royal titles to their children, and even withdraw the titles of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex,” Burkowski said of Harry, his wife Meghan Markle, and the couple’s children: son Archie and daughter Lilith.

Burkowski also agreed that the royal family is likely to be in for a “nervous Christmas…For the new king, who is still planning his coronation, it couldn’t have come at a worse time.” Charles’ official coronation ceremony will take place on May 6, 2023, a date that some suspect was deliberately chosen on the birthday of grandson Archie

It has also been reported that Charles will deny Harry his coronation if the Duke’s book criticizes Queen Consort Camilla.

“It’s one thing for Harry to attack Charles; he can contain it. But if Harry involves Camilla in his book, I have no doubt the king will choose Camilla,” a source recently told The Daily Beast, adding that the new king is “incredibly protective” of his wife the second.
