Prince Harry’s book “Spare” was published only 3 days ago and has already achieved particularly impressive sales figures: over 1.4 million copies of the book have been sold in the UK, Canada and the USA.

The book broke the sales records of “random house” book publishing ever. Harry’s book overtook the book “Becoming” by Barack and Michelle Obama which was published in 2018. Their book sold 1.4 million copies after a week of its publication.

Gina Centerello, president and publisher of random house, said: “‘Spare’ is the story of Prince Harry, who we may have thought we already knew, but now we can really understand through his words.”

“Seeing these extraordinary sales figures, readers clearly agree that ‘Spare’ is a must-read book and we are proud to publish it.”

As you may recall, Harry admits in his new book that his older brother William physically attacked him following his marriage to Meghan Markle. This is according to a part of the book that was leaked to the British Guardian, a few days before the book was supposed to be published.

In the book, Harry claims to have grabbed his brother and ripped off his chain before throwing him to the floor. Harry goes on to say that William called Harry’s wife “tough”, “cheeky” and “rude”.

“It all happened so fast. So fast,” says Harry. “He grabbed me by the neck, tore my necklace, knocked me to the floor, I fell on the dog’s bowl, which broke into pieces and cut me. I lay there for a moment, confused, then I stood up and told him to get out.”

The incident allegedly happened in 2019 at Nottingham Cottage, when Harry was living there and Kate came to complain about Meghan. Harry describes that in the argument his brother did not speak logically and the two started yelling at each other and cursing. As mentioned, the argument developed into a violent confrontation. Harry claims that William urged him to hit him back, and when this did not happen, he left the room, and after a short time came back and apologized. Harry asked William not to tell Meghan about the incident.

The rift in the royal family deepens

Yesterday (Wednesday) it was learned in the royal house that Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle will not attend the coronation ceremony of King Charles III, which will take place in London on May 6. This was reported today (Tuesday) in the British “Independent” newspaper.

According to the report, sources close to the royal family said that Harry would be invited to his father’s coronation event, but estimated that he and Meghan “will find a reason not to come.” Even if the two put the sediment aside and arrive in London, they are not expected to have an official role in the ceremony, unlike the rest of the royal family.
