She has disappeared from the public eye for months. Princess Kate has only made a few appearances since her cancer diagnosis. Now she has made one more.

Princess Kate has made a public appearance again after a long absence. The 42-year-old appeared for the first time since her cancer diagnosis at a church service in Crathie Parish Church in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. This was reported by the British newspaper “The Sun” and provided corresponding photos.

Kate was accompanied by her husband Prince William and her son Prince George. King Charles III and Queen Camilla were also present at the service. “The Sun” quoted a source as saying: “Both appear relaxed and smiling happily in the photos.”

Princess Kate wore a checked blazer and a striking brown hat with pheasant feathers, which she combined with gold earrings. Her long brown hair was clearly visible under the wide brim of the hat and fell over her shoulders. Prince William appeared in a classic dark blue suit.

In addition to attending the service, Kate and William recently attracted attention with a video message on the occasion of the Olympic Games in August. Since then, things have been quiet again for the future queen, and her public appearances have been rare. Her current visit to a Scottish church was all the more surprising.

Other members of the royal family, such as Prince Edward, Timothy Laurence, James Viscount Severn and Countess Sophie, also attended the service. The church, also known as “Crathie Kirk”, has been a frequent place for the royal family for more than a century. After the death of Queen Elizabeth II, a memorial service was also held there for the immediate family.
