In a joint effort between the National Secretariat of Risk Management, the Municipality of Guano, the National Police and the Guano-Penipe Educational District, a socialization program on risk management has been launched aimed at students and teaching staff of the Millennium Educational Unit in the Guano canton.
The main objective of these activities is to strengthen response capabilities in the face of dangerous events that may affect the educational community. The initiative seeks to prepare students and teaching staff to act in an efficient and coordinated manner in emergency situations.
The socializations, focused mainly on the risk management module, offer vital information on how to identify, evaluate and mitigate different types of risks, as well as the protocol to follow in the event of natural disasters or dangerous situations.
This effort reflects the commitment of the local and educational authorities of Guano to guarantee the safety and well-being of the student community. It is expected that this training will contribute to creating a culture of prevention and preparation for adverse situations, thus strengthening the resilience of the local population.
