Mandaluyong City is located in Greater Manila. Around twenty-five percent of the residents of the Philippines live in poverty. Many destinies lead to crime. The most common crimes are fraud, prostitution and drugs. Female offenders who are caught often end up in the Correctional Institution for Women, the Philippines’ oldest and largest women’s prison. The inmates range from petty criminals to murderers and gang members.
