Prithviraj Sukumaran has pulled out of Mohanlal’s first fantasy film Burrows. The player withdrew from Burroughs due to date issues. The actress is currently shooting for Shaji Kailas’ Tiger. The next sheep to be directed by Blessy will move on to the next schedule of his life. Burroughs was hit by the fact that he had to devote more time to the sheep’s life due to changes in the body nature of the star.

In the first half of this year, the filming of Burrows had to be postponed due to Kovid. Filming resumed in Kochi before the second lockdown. Filming was postponed due to breaks again. The main reason for the reshoot was the change in the physical nature of the child who plays the main character in the film. Burrows tells the story of a treasured ghost and a little girl’s intimacy. In the movie, Mohanlal himself plays the ghost of Barossa. The movie is being produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas.

Sheila McCaffrey, a foreigner, was initially cast as the little girl in the film. But Shayla was not with the team when filming resumed. Later when he decided to reshoot, the age and growth of the child challenged the character. Maya from Mumbai will replace Sheila as the little girl. Pratap Pothen and foreign actress Pas Vega will play the lead roles in the film. Santosh Sivan is the cinematographer for the film which is written by Jijo Punnus, the creator of Maidir Kuttichathan.
