Private bus workers on strike in Sri Lanka

Private bus operators traveling from Panadura and Moratuwa to Colombo Fort have gone on strike.

Due to this, people have been facing great inconvenience since this morning (Tuesday).

Panadura – Private bus operators have gone on strike following a clash between long distance bus drivers and private bus drivers operating buses from Moratuwa to Colombo.

Police also said that two bus employees have been arrested in connection with the incident which took place the day before yesterday.
