Coimbatore: According to the Right to Compulsory Education Act, if the details of the students enrolled in private schools are not uploaded on the EMIS website, they will not be able to receive tuition fees. In private schools, 25 percent reservation has been implemented to ensure that economically backward children get education. In the initial class of the school, there are 25 seats A percentage of seats should be allocated under the Right to Free Compulsory Education (RTE) Act. For this, if parents apply online, eligible children will be admitted to the school without tuition fees. Government will bear the tuition fees. In the current academic year, details of children enrolled in the RTE category have been informed to be uploaded on the EMIS website. However, some schools are said not to follow this procedure. Therefore, it has been informed from the directorate that if they do not upload it on the EMIS website, they will not be able to receive the tuition fees. Education officials said, ‘Private schools are also uploading the details of students on the EMIS website. RTE should post the details of reservation members separately. According to the website list, the details of those who are eligible to receive tuition fees will be sent to the government.
